The service
Currency Exchange Rate API provides current exchange rate data and API access for application development. The service may change as it is developed.
Accounts and API keys
Keep your account and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity made with your credentials. Do not share API keys publicly or with people who should not access your account. Revoke a key if it may have been exposed.
Acceptable use, quotas, and fair use
Use the service lawfully and do not disrupt, abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass its security or limits. Plans have monthly request quotas and per-second limits. Do not evade quotas or use multiple accounts or keys to abuse the service. We may limit requests to protect the service and its users.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and processes applicable payments and taxes. Plan prices, billing intervals, and cancellation options are shown during purchase and in your account.
Rates and disclaimers
Exchange rates are provided “as is” and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We make no warranty about their accuracy or availability. The data is for informational and software development use, is not financial advice, and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions.
Support
Support is offered through tickets in the dashboard on a best-effort basis, with no guaranteed response time. Do not use tickets to send unlawful or abusive content, or secrets such as API keys or passwords. We may limit or close tickets that abuse the service.
Termination and liability
You may stop using the service and delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these terms or to protect the service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.
